OK last post for me on this thread but I have enjoyed looking at the weird stuff. I seen this pic of a foose thing on another thread on this board and was wondering if it belonged here. Also a pic of Foose in the Spirit build bucket. We were next to him and the P32 in the basement at Detroit last year.
As a newbie I got to say this is a cool place to hang. After being in the basement last year and seeing the following the H.A.M.B. has in person I knew I needed to enter in but I just wasn't ready to get in touch with my dark side. After a couple days here I'm ready to start cuttin and welding.

Its funny how everyone cracks on Boyd but you know late at night all these same guys are watching their DVR recorded American Hot Rod and thinking to themselves, "Damn I wish I had that...and thats really a nice car...wait, did I just say that out loud?":)

That twin mill car is the life sized actually working version of the old hot wheels toy car.... so the toy inspired the car.

This Humber has been around as a "custom car" since the 70,s. I,ve seen it change from a Hearse with a blown straight six into a Pickup, evolve through several different colours. It,s been covered (literally) in brown vinyl and now.......wood effect seems to be in.
The sad thing about this car is the reaction it receives from Joe Public as they think it,s farntarstic darling! Park it next to the most bitchin, period correct, detailed to perfection Hot Rod you,ve ever seen and they won,t even see it past this car.
Mind you, it,s normally parked next to a Ford Capri or Opel Monza so maybe they have a point!
    WTF!

Although this looks like someone just drempt it up, this is actually a kit that (I think) Ford made. Never seen one on a coupe. Mostly just pickups. They were for places where it snowed alot, like Alaska and the mountains out west. Again, never seen one one a coupe, but, could be. Doctors vehicle?

  28. These are pretty oddball.

I have to say the first time I saw these cars in person I definately said "WTF?!?!". But I have to admit this group is pretty cool.

You should check out there site if you haven't already.
