A group of Cubans sails toward the Florida Straits on a modified 1959 Buick Tuesday February 3, 2004. The pilots were the same two men who tried to sail a converted 1951 Chevy flatbed truck to the U.S. last year. Nine other Cubans, including wives and children, were intercepted by the U.S Coast Guard on Tuesday Feb. 3, 2004. (AP Photo/CBS4, HO)

i've got a friend with a 49 chevy truck with a olds toronado front wheel drive set up sitting under his bed and the really weird thing is the corvair suspension in the front. rear disc front drum. differnt yes but when he punches it the thing hooks so damn hard it can pull the front wheels on street tires.

A 500 Cadi in a Pontiac Feiro. The engine was still in the rear. Some guy was selling kits to do it at a local show.

    What about this puppy?
The wife had just crawled out of bed wandering what the noise was when I fired it up.

How about this one, sorry, but again not car related, but with a 5 litre V twin it might have a slight appeal to some of you guys [IMG]
The motor is the front two cylinders off the front of a V12 Merlin aero engine, 24 litres of it. And he dropped a blower on the top too!

The guy I bought a rolling chassis from a 46 ford four door was putting the body on a 80's Toronado FWD.

Also a local neck has a 65 Falcon Ranchero on a 4x4 chassis with Swampers - oooo eeeee!!!
