One of the reasons I like the movie Absent Minded Professor so much. Please ignore the modified roof.
The Mercury versions were always my favorite. I "chased" a deal on one 4-5 years ago that never materialized. Was supposed to be a 58 Commuter HT. You just don't see em that often but that aside, I always thought it balls to design and sell the idea. I guess any 2dr wgn. really. The Safaris and Nomads are just plain artistic in style and substance.
Here is the two that I currently own plus a couple from my past.Got my first one(the 60 sedan delivery)in 1968 and haven't looked back yet.
The wit comes from the heart though. 2dr comet would be cool for sure. I'm a nomad man because my father had one in high school. Not sure if I'll ever get around to owning one but I do enjoy them.
mine is way OT so I won't post the photo, but 2 door wagons are my favorite. a tri 5 handyman wagon is my dream ride. some day. ________ ***xydevill
I think my favorite one so far is ^^^ that ford and the 58 Plymouth that Jive-bomber posted. Stockers need a little adjusting. edit: is that a canuck merc?
I've always loved wagons.....two or four door. Probably because my dad had 3 different ones when I was a kid. '59 and '60 Chevy's are my favorite! Tri-5 Chevy's rule too. That baby blue one posted by Jive rocks. I believe it was built by the Salinas Boys.
Dig your wagon Meteor! That Ford is bad ***... Here's a pic of my Handyman soon to be back on the road of happiness. At Neal's Hotrod Party 2008, right before the motor's demise...

The old Ranch Wagon that has been part of the faimly since 1954,,it's a project that I have been working on for almost 8 years now but it's getting closer to being a driver! HRP
I lusted after a friend's 66 Chevelle 2dr wagon (factory V8 4spd), but he had inherited from his dad...and so the story goes. Saw a 58 Merc 2dr wagon at the PDX swap meet several years ago - 3/tree - amazing. dj
