(off topic) New Found H8 for Gold Chainers

Well it’s been quite a while since I've posted. I figured I would share my new found hate for gold chainers. I happened to be in Charlotte, NC this weekend for a mini truck show (yes, I know the root of all evil).
Well every gold chainer this side of the Miss. must have been their for the GoodGuys (see gold chainers) Show.

So Friday night I pull up into said motel in the wives pink machine, with no place to park. The gold chainers had all of their enclosed trailers filling up the parking lot, and what spaces were open had the cars that filled said trailers in them. Now, I thought, I can deal with this. So I park at the steak house next to the hotel and walk into the motel only to be greeted by about 10 chainers standing around the door admiring some dipshits 57 that had about 80K in it. I said hey, just being nice (what a waste)! Only to get the cold shoulder from these dumb jerks. Late Friday night a gentleman with a lakes style car based on a VW was the only one around when I stepped out to smoke. This was by far the classiest guy at the joint, black car simple wheels and a hell of a nice attitude.

Saturday night, started with more of the same shit. The same guy with the lakes style based on the Gia was out in the parking lot. I spent a few minutes talking with this guy, now understanding my hate for gold chainers even more. Sorry to vent on you guys or whatever ya’ll will call it.

I wish a could have ran into a few HAMB’s to have a brew with while I was there, but I totally forgot to see if any of ya’ll would have been caught dead in the vicinity of that show!

 

I've got a solution for this.....

DON'T go to the friggen "goldchainer" show if it bothers you so much.
I don't waste my money or time on crap like that. Its like trying to drive a square peg into a round hole. You don't appreciate their attitudes OR cars? cool. Don't go around them.

Problem solved.
(I don't mean to sound like a dick, but......awww fuck it, yeah I do).

 

a) I heard tampons were half off at WalMart...maybe it's time for you to stock up...

b) and rat rodders are 100% accomodating? what if you and your hoodlum buddies were sitting around and some "gold chainer" walks up and tries talking to you....you're gonna accept him and treat him like one of the guys? bullshit if you say yes...

Wipe the rust and primer off your coke bottle glasses!!! He didnt go to GG's, he was in Charlotte for another event.

 

So how did Booger Bash turn out. I used to love that show. We went religously for years. I thought about going down this year since Chuck brought it back. All of my buddies backed out at the last minute so wimped out myself.

And he was staying in a HOTEL! everyone knows that "real" hot rodders sleep in their cars.
