Hey guys! I have a new Offy dual carb intake for my Ford 223 inline 6. It appears to be for the 215 engine as the ports are a bit smaller than my stock manifold. Do I need to open them up to match the head, or will it work ok as it is? Just wondering how much it will affect the performance. I also have a set of long tube headers to install. All of this will be in my '55 F100 with a BG 3 speed with overdrive.
Thanks in advance for your help!

  2. I think if you port match them it will help with the fuel flow. If its stepped, the difference might create some turbulence, but I think either way, you're not talking a whole lot of diff in performance.
