What Offenhauser products do you want but can't seem to find because they don't make it or you can't find it? I'm thinking that if we get enough HAMBers that what a part, we might convice Tay and Jim to make a few items. Just wondering.

I have been told that if you can get an Offy part number, they will make whatever you want.

    I have no idea though.

i think it depends on who you know, not where you buy.

seems to me that phethean racing can get you ANY offy casting EVER made that offy still has the mold paterns for if you are willing to wait a while to get the stuff, sometimes up to 6-8 months but hey,,, some things are worth waiting for

  7. tay told me he will do a small run of discontinued items if I could guarantee X amount. I forget the number, it was less than 10 pieces.

You can find 3X2 SBF intakes here. I believe they are for Holly 4 bolt 2 barrels. I am running their 427 dual quad, pricy but a very good intake. Wouldn't be hard to make an adaptor to run a 3 bolt carb, maybe I should make some just for fun!! Hope this helps.

  19. I think I'm all alone one this one but here it is: Dual 1 brl carb intake for AMC 196 I6's... If you got one, let me know. If I can't find it, I'll have to make one.

  20. We tried this with Marcus a few years back. We needed 6 people to get the Offy Cadillac 6-carb log manifolds done......it didn't happen: not enough people.

Sho_ford, the finned aluminum covers for the Pontiac are still available from Offenhauser. I ran across a guy selling them, a well as many, many other Offy products, at Carlisle. I need one of the figgin' things for my Poncho and he told me he could order just one from Offy. I was very surprised that he would do that and more surprised that Offy would accommodate such a weird order. Best thing was, one valve cover costs exactly 1/2 the price of a pair. No additional charge, handling charge, special order charge-nada-nothing. I was floored.

The fellow I talked to said that Offy still manually logs all their orders-no computers for them and when you call in an order, it will most likly be processed by an Offy family member. Wow. I love it!!!

  23. I'd like an Offy manifold for my Plymouth flattie sixer. They make 'em, I just cant afford it... :D

Pinstriper (Sam from Rocco and Cheater's) and I had this very same conversation at Charlotte in the spring. His family has a long history with those guys. He's talked to them before about it. Some of the bucks are long gone. But if they have them it's a matter of having enough orders (6 seemed to be the magic number)...

My sbf tunnel ram weber tripower is an offy 360 unit. I think it's pretty cool. Wonder if they still have it?
