Event Coverage Official 2016 Meltdown Drags Thread - What are you doing to get ready?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Okiedoker, Nov 23, 2015.

  1. No thats not it. They would jump on anyone that makes a sudden loud noise or moves real fast. Cheer on the inside. The mom can go from calm to protective in a snap of the fingers. Great guard dogs all three of them. But really if you want a copy stop over just call first so i can put the hounds away. The action on this tape is worth it. Koop has seen it.

I've had everything but a tank of fuel in it James, and I had a bunch of parts in the trunk to simulate that.
I'm just looking to get the car sitting a touch higher for tire clearance in the rear, and to get it levelled out up front so it looks right, and isn't as squirrelly on the top end.My alignment guy ran out of caster adjustment on it,and mentioned that it was because it was sitting on a "rubber rake" with the rear tires being so much taller than the fronts.

No didn't you read his post? He had a bunch of parts in the trunk to simulate the missing weight. The 351 short block back there was for his head as it simulated the size, weight and emptiness.

All it's gonna take to beat you Nancys is my little "Super 289".

And Jeff, taking shots at my cranium and its ongoing struggle with morbid obesity was a little offside.

    Also, DouchedUp:
Maybe you could use a pair of these, for safety's sake,so you aren't blinded by all that StreetRod/Fat&Furry-est bling on the dashboard of "The Princess"...;)

They're on sale,so you'll be able to afford them after sinking the rest of your disposable income into braided rad hose covers and carbon fiber door panels.;)

  19. If you don't have it that way already, your supposed to put the throttle pedal by the front of the passenger side door in a Willys pickup. ;)
