The Road Rockets of Indianapolis proudly announce the 4th Annual 1962 Motorama to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana Feb 13th, 14th, and 15th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

This show is held in conjunction with the 50th annual 500 World of Wheels, one of the oldest indoor car shows in the US.

Since we are in a separate building from the 500 WOW, we guarantee a 100% painless move-in (no waiting for hours to get into the building) and a painless move-out (all drivable cars will be out of the building in a matter of minutes on Sunday evening).

For the first time beginning this year tow money will be available for entries traveling over 150 miles.

Floorspace for this years Motorama has expanded again and we promise to showcase and present to the public the best selection of customs, hotrods, trucks, and bobbers in the midwest.

We will also have live bands on Friday and Saturday nights during the show.

We look forward to receiving your 1962 or older finished entry for this years' Indianapolis Motorama.

A printable entry form for this years Motorama can be found on the Road Rockets website
    www.indyroadrockets.com
or the CASI (Championship Auto Shows Inc.) website
    www.autorama.com.
or for additional information contact Tom @ 317-244-8271.

Its a great show bringing alot of history back from the old drag races at Stout Feild as well as IRP. And also alot of historical hot rods and customs from the original and the best of Indy, indoor car shows

This has been a superb addition to the World of Wheels and really brings the focus to the traditional side of the fence. Lot's of great history, great cars, etc... This is what an indoor car show should be about.

Last year everybody had a great time. The move in and out was quick and painless like mercdeuceman stated. I'll be there for 4 days straight helping with the move in/out, set/up and giving a hand wherever I can.
There are no ropes or stanctions around the cars and it has the vibes of a car show put on 45 years ago. There will be plenty of security and people to keep an eye on your car. There was a good selection of cars last year and we hope this year will be even better with a little more room.
It's a good way to break the winter blues and hang out with some like minded people, so come on out and we will make you feel welcome.

Well I blew it last year and had entered but, as they always do, my sweetie made plans to be in Texas with the kids then, but this year, Yeh, I know allyall don't believe it, I'll be there with a vehicle. Or my promise to you is if not you can come and drag my sorry ass up there. I was just worrying though, if Don (Andy's deuce) is going to be there the whole darn weekend how in the hell will we find time to talk about him? so, Naomi, since I didn't use my entry last year or get my T-shirt, does it "carry over"?

Watch your mouth now or you may not move in quite as fast as you could!!!:p:D Besides me being there never stopped you guys from talking about me before. You guys could always go in the ladies bathrooms and put on the stall walls, "for a super good time see Don" and leave my number.:D:D

There is no need to worry about the cars not being roped off at this show.

I have put a vehicle in this event every year we have done this and never so much as ever had to wipe off a fingerprint.

We are working on a pretty cool comemorative gift to give each exhibitor again this year.

Handmade awards again this year. AND if your vehicle to be picked as People's Choice, your name and car goes on the 8 Foot tall People's Choice trophy designed and built VOODOOCHILI here on the board.

Dickster27, get that entry in to bring your coupe!!! It is a perfect fit for 1962.

I dropped off my entry form to Naomi at Culbertson's this past Friday. Also got a DVD of the 2008 "Rumble". I'm looking forward to the Motorrama and "hanging" with some great hot rodders.

We plan to have the Bel Air in the W.O.W. show this year. Hard to believe it is the 50th anniversary. I think the first time I went was to enter a model car in the MPC model contest over 30 years ago as a teen.

Looking forward to seeing the Motorama again this year!

Hey everyone. We have great news!!! We can have additional space in our building if we need it.
The entries are still coming in at an average of 1 or so per day.
We are not looking for just numbers.
98% of the entries we have are driveable vehicles and fit the critera you would have seen at an actual 1962 indoor car show.
If you feel your vehicle fits then contact us for an entry blank.

This years event will have cash awards for club displays.
We pay tow money for entries traveling over a certain mileage.
We will have live bands on Friday and Saturday nights.
Henry Winkler (Fonzie) is scheduled to be in our area as well.
Handmade awards, plus a chance to have bragging rights to having your name and car added to our 8 foot tall People's Choice Award.
Your entry fee includes 2 weekend passes and 1 parking pass for the weekend

Best of all, we guarantee you a 100% hassle free move in. Drive up to the door, once we verify your entry as a preregistered entry, you drive in and park... all in less than 5 minutes. It doesn't get any simplier than that.

HAMB MEET AND GREET WILL BE AT 12 NOON on SATURDAY!!!!!

Registration is still open for the show. Just a reminder, the dates are Feb. 13, 14, 15, so there is still time. Its a show in itself with alot more to offer than some other knock off indoor "traditional" shows.
    Registration form is here... www.indyroadrockets.com
