Guys, this seems to be the best nostalgic indoor Rod & Custom gathering in the midwest!

Lets bring this back on top for the Road Rockets !

I will be there with the 32 Roadster and Dragster again this year. Had a blast last year and I am really looking forward to this years show. I know that Tom, Naomi and the rest of the crew will do a GREAT job.
    See You There!

Bringing this back to the top again. We are over 100 entries and still going strong. (that's not including any of our own club cars)
Thorough the generosity of the promoter, we have the green light to expand into another room connected to the existing room we now have.

The 2009 version of the 1962 Motorama will have:

    A record number of entries
Nearly a 45% turnover of new entries, most never seen in Indy
Live bands on Friday and Saturday nights
The "Fonz" will be in the 62 Motorama area.
The HAMB Meet and Greet will be @ 12 noon on Saturday

Can we have "The Fonz" do a photo op with our Cars?
A new make over and a pic with the "The Fonz", that would start my year off right...
Next year can we get John Travolta and the other T-Birds?

From what I'm hear'n here sounds like maybe the Fonz might need a makeover too.

I wanted to bump this back up to the top again since we are getting close to show time. Spoke with Tom and Naomi of the Road Rockets last night. They could not be more excited with the response and number of cars that are going to be in attendance. Can't wait to see all of you there.

Been talking to Naomi (what a sweetheart!) trying to get all my guys registered for the Rumble in June - I think myself and at least one more of the Poorboys are gonna try and make this one as spectators anyways.

That's great! Hope to see ya at both of em. The Indy MotoRama is a really good time for sure, especially for us midwest guys who don't really get to enjoy our cars all year.

So far show management has been great to work with. The '62 Motorama keeps growing every year. We have the potential to have more cars this year than any traditional show in the U.S.
We will be working on the last of the awards this weekend. Indianapolis has had it's share of bad weather so with a little luck Valentines day weekend will be nice.
    See you all there.

So far the weatherman is forecasting good weather for the 62 Motorama.

For those of you who have already entered, (100+ of you) expect a personel phone call early this coming week for particulars about move in on Thursday.

It will be a fun weekend for sure.

Henry Winkler in our area Fri, Sat, and Sun.
Bands on Fri and Sat nights.
Old movies during show hours and slide shows from drag racing at Stout Field in the mid to late 50's during show hours too.

HAMB Meet and Greet at 12 noon on Saturday at the Road Rockets tent in the middle of the Motorama.

Looking forward to the weekend myself, hope Thursday is dry, as I don't want to use my trailer to get my car there. Custom Crestline, my son and I was at "Pull a Part on Mass Ave" this last Sat. they had a '54 there but didn't pay much attention to the fenders, might be worth a look into.

hey - if anyone needs any Rat Fink shirts or hot rod DVDs FOR FREE - YES - FREE - let me know (ok there may be manual labor involved to get something - but I will hook you up for sure if you can help me load out on Sunday night about 8pm)

Seya there - I will be the guy in the main hall selling all the Rat FInk shirts, posters, stickers, hot rod DVDs etc.

Be sure to come by and check out the Vintage Torque DVD as well - it looks SOOO much better on a real TV instead of that Youtube stuff

Some crazy weather here... I assume it is the same or similar in Indy. For those that are driving tomorrow, be careful.

I will be trailering in (but I'd rather be driving!) Enjoy. Be safe.

    See ya this weekend.

  24. We are definitely in. Leaving Chicago on Saturday at O Dark Thirty. Hoping to be there in time for the Meet n Greet.

What time does the band play on Saturday night?

Setup and cleaning was a breeze today. Top notch act are the Road Rockets and the Indy MotoRama. More cleaning and setup tomorrow and then it's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

There is some REALLY cool stuff out there this weekend. I'll be back on saturday to check it all out but what was coming in today was N-I-C-E. Except for that Fat Boyz Toyz green thing. I don't know what the hell was going on there....I am positive that it won't be in the Motorama section though. Tom would shoot lasers out of his eyes before that would happen.

    John,
Great job on TV this morning but did they hold a contest to find the reporter who knew the least possible amount about cars??? Wow. His man card should be reviewed.
"Some of those cars date back to the 1950's!" "Do people just pull these out of barns and shine them up?" You did a nice job of not slapping him.
