I hated to put this on the same date as Mick's show.
His is an amazing show and I really dont think we will pull much from the same geographical areas.....
we may have a few people from MO that may have to decide.....but I think that would be about it.
We have Mothers Day the weekend after - and I can not do anything on that weekend.
and the weekend after that is Rust Revival..........and we can NOT step on Breeders toes. Many people that go to V.T.F. go to Rust Revival as well.
so - we had to go early ....

very excited to announce that we have Lucky Tubb coming to Vintage Torque Fest.
If you are not familiar with him.....
    you will be.
There is a reason that Hank III and Wayne the Train Hancock are singing on stage with this guy around the country.
He is the real deal - Honky Tonk Country the way it SHOULD be....
none of this new country generic bull.
    "cause Nashville's just a shame"
Hope you dig it - if you dont - just go look at some cars or motorcycles or art or swap meet or whatever.....ME - I will be front and center for Lucky

    http://youtu.be/ZaBgLGlN36Y
Oh - and if you wanna see Hank III out there singing a song of Lucky's:

hmmm....some car show or the birth of a child?
pretty easy to see what the choice is for me.

There are a few things that I will be thinking of when I am on my death bed........
2 at the top of the list will be the birth of my baby girls.
Thanks for contributing to the auction and I look forward to seeing what you can come up with.

And Zaq - you are TOO much man!
Good to know we rank high in your priority list.
Remember if anyone needs any promo material to hand out to the people that may not know about our show - or need a gentle reminder - just email us and we will send out some promotional propaganda to you.

Thanks to all that are supporting the show.

and Zaq - you should roll up with the Bombers - I am pretty sure some of those guys are gonna roll up ot the show again this year and I am sure they would not mind you rolling with them.

Aww man and the Koffin kats playing too!

Yeah, if momma lets me I'll be there for the birth of the baby rather than the car show. Got a few ideas brewing for my fink for the auction, the one for myself will be done for the baby's room at my place. Gonna start this kid off right!

Are you having a preregistration party at the QCCA Rod and Custom Show again this year? If so when, what time and who's playing? You are going to rock the place right? If there is no party, I ain't going. Later man

Yes - we will have the back hall again all to ourselves.
This time we will be graced by Chuck the Barber - so if anyone needs their hair done up right - come on over and CHuck will hook you up.
I think Todd Jones is planning on hitting the show on Sat. and Sunday as well.
The Bombers CC will be there with a car or two....
The Coronados CC will have a car AND they will be handing out free Torque Fest posters to one and all!
Yes - the Coronados will have registration info there and if you register at the show you will get a sticker for free as well!
I know 3 on the Tree are gonna be playing during the weekend.
    AND
yes - we will have the return of the vintage racing on the big screen as well.
So come on back and check out the party that will be going on at the 29th Annual Rod and Custom Show in Rock Island IL
QCCA Expo Building on Jan 20-22.

Anything going on in town for an after party like last year at Ribco. Hillbilly Casino is playing there the 28th, Dammit. They couldn't get the dates right this year to have a cool show after the car show this year? We may come Saturday this year so the wife is in better humor than last year. See ya there.

Will be there again this year with my roadster. I chickened out last year cause the car was too fresh, hadn't had time for a shakedown cruise. I put 4000 miles on it since, so it will be there!

There are only 119 days until Vintage Torque Fest in Mekqueetaktoakikea Iowa!! Or however the hell you pernounce it.

Wait a minute, the Model A is on 4 jack stands and the engine is in another state at this time. Not to worry, I will take care of that...and it's off to Mekqueto-kota-hoooha, Iowa.

So I'm wrenchin....hope the rest of you are as well. See you there!:p

Yes - THIS motorcycle will be at the Vintage Torque Fest!
Not everyday you get to see one of the "masters" works on display.
But at Vintage Torque Fest we strive to bring in the historic and the nice hot rods and kustoms in the special invite inside area.
So if you have a special historic hot rod that would need to be shown alongside something as special as the Von Dutch XAVW - let us know.

Thanks and if you need promo material for your shop or if you wanna spread the word to your fellow car club or guys you hang with - let us know and we will hook you up with some posters and postcards.
