Hey I have a question for you guys. I have a 61 parkwood wagon 283 3 speed non air car. I need a heater core. the guy at the parts house does not have a number for it because his books don't go back that far. do any of you guys know what heater core that would take? If I can get him a number he can get it for me at cost usually.

is it a older parts store, if so they should have a book with pics. in it take your core out and compare to pic. that's how I had to do on my 59. hope this helps. also have you checked ecklers late great chevy . won't be cheap tho.

I put some 59/60 gauge pods up for sale or trade in the classifieds if any of you guys need them. I am also going to put a power rear window regulator on in a few days.

    40StudeDude,
I love that two tone scheme on your '64, and remember it from searching a few years ago for combinations to use on mine...came very close to using your scheme......also your Brothers car is just awesome ! :)

Thanx Bob, my bro's SS elicits lots of responses...some good, some not so good.

We're planning on two-toning the wagon too (this coming winter)...and here's how we're going to do it, IF we don't sell the car first...and that ain't striping tape there...it's 1/4" masking tape...

Where was that last taken? It looks like Highlands North Carolina. We used to ride motorcycles up through there. I don't know if it is but it looks like it.

Bought this last year in CO for a cross-country jaunt from Denver to LSR to Detroit.
It hadn't run since '07, but the "Hula-girl Goddess" vigilantly protects the old girl from road demons:

Here is my nighymare, and my first 59 El Camino. The pink one was customized in the Sacramento area in the early 60's, the Red one I pulled of a hillside outside of Nevada City. It has fought me tooth and nail for 10 years, buut I still fight back.[IMG] [IMG]

Heres my 63 belair. My great grandma bought it brand new. I used to ride around with my old man in the 70's in it when i was a kid! It was mint condition then. Ive had it for 25 years. Its gettin rat rodded but pops would love it all the same!
