Oh great and wonderous HAMB...cluster I.D.

  1. Picked up a truck load of vintage parts today. Parts included a full set of factory 68 Road Runner mags in not the best condition,64 Mercury complete dash ***embly with excellant padded portion,57 Custom Royal dash cluster and dash trim,***orted headlight bezels,***orted 64 Merc and Ford trim,64 Ford door panels and this gauge cluster that we don,t know the origin.Can anyone tell me what it is out of and the year? Thanks for any help!:D

    Gotta be an Olds piece......'59-60-ish?

    could be olds. but not a '59. i have a 59.

    I don't think it's an Olds piece, at least not a 59-60. Might be an earlier one.

    It looks alot like a 57 Cadillac, but it's not quite the same. I don't think this is GM at all.

  8. I,ve been searching all night and have yet to find a picture of this speedometer. Some one here has to know.....Please oh please can someone help an old packrat out?

    I saw one just like that in a Model A once.

    I don't think it was original.

    59 edsel is similar, but not the same. 58 Caddy is similar too.

    This is going to drive me crazy!

  13. Just an update for all that tried to help. I took the cluster apart only to find that the gauges were marked FOMOCO meaning Ford of course. Part number started with C1 meaning 1961! I then searched the net for all 1961 Ford product makes until I found that the speedometer is out of a 1961 Mercury Comet. The unit will be on it,s way to Australia this week. Again...thanks to all who tried to figure it out!

    Would never be GM the speedo only went to 100 MPH didn't all 60's GM go to 120 MPH?

    Looks like Olds. to me should have a part number on back side.
