Customs Oh no, I don't need another car...

    The car was originally aqua, the same color my other '62 was, the Sport Sedan. Which, if this weren't now light bronze, it would get painted. If I were going to paint it. Which I don't think I am going to do. ;)

    Thinking that was the same color as our race car with a white top. Not sure how common the two was on these car's. Are's is a sedan.

    In the mid 60's the manager of the local IGA in my Central Missouri town had a 409 impala. I think it was a '63, but close enough. It was worth riding my bicycle, and later drive my car, past the IGA just to get a glimpse of the car. It's been so long ago that I don't remember if it was a SS or not, or if it had buckets/console, or auto/4-sp. What I do remember is that it was nearly the exact color of your '62. I really like the color.
