Have been a member of this board for about two years and finally got around to introducing myself even though many of you already know me. I live in Columbus OH and have been involved in motorsports since the mid-60s. My interests involve both drag and cirlce track racing. I write historical articles for both Flat Out and Speedway Illustrated involving drivers and cars from the post-WWII era up to to 1980. The first circle track I was ever involved with was the now-shuttered Silver Springs Speedway in Carlisle and Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanisburg. I have done everthing at a race track except drive a race car. I have run the pits, flagged, promoted events, cleaned the track, cleaned toilets and sold tickets. I am very involved with the vintage meets held at Darlington and Michigan Speedways. This is a great site and have enjoyed my time here. Mike Garrepy
