Its in Cleveland. Here is a link to their site ohiotechnicalcollege.com. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about their reputation. I dont wanna waste my time with a school that has a bad reputation. They have a class for vehicle restoration so i might see if i can do that

I have 3 friends who currently attend there, they seem to like it but they said all the kids have tuners, imports & mini trucks and thats what they mostly work on...not really anybody into hot rods or kustoms...I've going for my teaching degree here in Michigan but have been looking at schools to get into classic car restoration mostly just so I can learn for fun

As someone who will be paying off student loans for a degree that is essentially useless until I am old and gray, let me be the first to say that a serious scholarship to a school that will give you the tools you need to succeed in your chosen career path is nothing to sneeze at.
Even if they only work on tuners and the like, is there anything else there that interests you. Last time I checked, Diesel Mechanics were in demand all over the place and make a cubic buttload of money.
I wish I had had an opportunity like that or at least someone to tell me to think a little bit farther into the future about things like that.

  12. Are we talking about Ohio Diesel Tech?

  13. Well, if this is, I would say don't waste your time....was there recently and it is a mess....high turnover with instructors, cars missing parts, broken promises, 6 months into 3+ years, motors dropped etc...now I can only comment on the bodyshop/resto side of the school....maybe the mechanical side is different....but what I saw was a body shop school training kids how to be the normal wrong type of body man.....
