Grew up in Dayton-- East dayton that is. As far as I know cities like Cincinnati and Youngstown are separated by 'bout 300 mi- but are worlds apart. Youngstown is more like the Quaker State, and da Nati is more like, well the Cracker state (ha! I just made that up). Three quarters of the people in my neighborhood growing up were literally straight outta the hollar.
Good people-- just a different vibe, that Appalachian culture.

 

You're right about that! I bought a 4 year old 3 bedroom home in Niles on about half an acre with a completely finished shop in '02 for $83K. Niles has it's own utility company and property taxes are ****..Wanted a newer home because I don't like repairing houses which is why I settled for living in town. But I could've bought an older home north of here with land for the same moneyor less, much less.

Cleveland Here....transplanted from Chicago a couple of years ago. Are there any tatted up late twenties greasers around here? The scenes a little different than back home. Cheaper to live here slightly rustier cars...

don't want to rub anyone the wrong way...just lookin for some like minded individuals in the Cleveland area. I've met some nice people here. This towns real big on the drag scene, havent met a whole lot of people into kustoms.

 

Yeah, you should see where I live man....there aint a damn thing here for drag scene OR cutom scene it's just dead.

 

There's quite a few around there. Start hitting the cruise nights. I'm only 1 hr west.
