La punte huh grew up in the next city over. Ya i have drop spinndals in the front chopped coils and 4in block in the back in havnt had problems with the floorboard yet but its as low as it can get without losing the smooth ride. would like to see some pics of your 55 u have them posted?
I can answer any questions about this car since I was the one who built it about 15 years ago! I put the dropped spindles in about 8 years ago, my buddy aaron from us kustoms recently c notched it, shaved the handles/hoodbird and painted the front blue. I cut 1/12 coils out of the front, did the body work in my front yard with no power equipment (I was 19 at the time) , installed all the interior, polished all the stainless, installed the glass, shaved the dash, wired, and painted/pinstriped the car metallic grey including both sides of the fender wells, as well as athe rest of the under hood sheetmetal, before the blue paint. I then made a stupid move and traded this for a harley to the current owners dad!!!! oops! I still have a few parts, and the extra key......
here's some pics of my '55. i've had it for 8 years currently getting a fresh drivetrain. it's been off the road for about 4 years and i'm dying to drive this thing again...and i actually live in Valinda its just to small of a city for anyone to know about. and as for you 13horrorshow13 how the hell do you let this beast slip away from you??? nice work man i love '55's mines a 4dr but it was all my pops could afford to get me when i wanted a classic and it was my dream car so i made the most of it
Hey Welcome. OK, your 55 really looks SPOT on! I've been gravitating to the late 50's and 60's cars for some reason. And yours is what I see them as, How I would like to do it. Simple, clean, lowered, and you get the picture. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Ohsolow, That '55 is beautiful and BAD ASS! Thanks for posting the pics and... Welcome to the HAMB! Lance
