Oil pan dip stick boss

Hello....my name is William. I am currently in the process of a full restoration on my 42 Ford. I plan on keeping the flat head in it. After much searching I've located an oil pan boss to replace the broken one on my engine. Is there a better alternative to riveting the new one on? Thanks.
