Picasso, Chopt34, and Weesner are probably my favorites. I also really dig Sailor, Brush, and Mcphail's work.

Almost all of the Friday Art Crowd is worthy of listing. We have some serious talent around here.

I love Keith Weesner's work. My black Rodders Journal shirt is my favorite. Also I thought it was funny that it took a whole page before anyone mentioned Von Dutch.

    I think he was.
Or maybe it was him that helped Al Gore with that internet
    thingy.
Personally i like that idea of Hank Cash being included,
as well as Mc Phail and Weesner

Jim, I don't think EITHER of us need to revisit that one...

  20. OK, fine but how about instead of continuing to talk about eventually selling let's say 500 "limited edition" pairs of headlights for $2,000 you just cut out the middle man and sell ONE PAIR for $1,000,000? [IMG] Think of all the savings that can be made on advertising, labor, shipping and manufacturing. Make it "1-of-1" and someone will have to step up!

  24. Thanks. I had a big list all typed out...I deleted it...just browse the Friday Art threads...this place is bustin at the seams with talent!!!! There's WAAAY more than 10 REALLY talented artists on this board...no need to even look elsewhere. Every friday the art show either inspires me or completely overwhelms me and makes me wanna go back to cookin. seriously.

As for "non-HAMBers" (they're registered lurkers)...fellow DEADBEATS, Jime' Litwalk and Jeff Shea. These two guys are outta control.

Can't forget Palmer (who else?) either.

Man, where to start. As already mentioned there is some great talent here on the HAMB. Here is some that I like and sorry that I have to remove Dave Mann as he would have been in my list.

    Tom Fritz
    Thom Taylor
    Kenny Youngblood
    Steve Sanford
    Jeff Norwell
    Kent Bash
    D. Mayabb
    Foose
    Dave Bell
    Weesner
    Jimmy Smith

Still couldn’t cut it down to 10.

indeed, there are more than 10, more like 10 hundred, give or take.

the sweep of approach, style, commitment and ability within the realm of 'car' art is pretty damned amazing, and that the brethren here on the board have such deep respect for each other and each other's talents....well, that's awfully cool. we kind of stick together that way.

I can't add to the list- all y'all have covered it.

do us a favor, though- buy.

You can never narrow this list down to just 10 because of the vast amount of talent that shows itself through so many different media...so I'll just say this

    Ron Myers
    Whodaky
    Barnett
    Jeem
    Hamilton
    Johnny and Kali
    Whiskey
    Toyghoul
    Brush
    Daddy-O
    Von Franco
    Safariknut
    Unkl Ian
    hillbilly deluxe
    Peter Pan of Chicago
    Weesner
    Caffine
    GV Gordon
    Buick59(for photos)
HankCash(for photos and not just the girly ones either)
    00 Mack
    MikeO
    alteredpilot
These are in no particular order and I haven't even begun to scratch the surface to name all the wonderfully talented people that have influenced so many.

Yep, Dan P. said it best.

My biggest fear about a list is missing someone. Everybody brings something different to the table.

Picasso also said it best when he said Support your Hot Rod Arteest!

Oh. Bob McCoy, haven't heard anyone mention him (he is certainly a living legend).
