it's not that big a deal on a truck, as has been mentioned. if he did what has been done so far i think he can handle it. i've got a sectioned and narrowed 54 Ford truck cab in the garage i'm about half done with. it was realy no big thing at all... at least i did'nt think so. different people have different skill sets though. mine just happens to be cutting **** up and piecing it back together in ways it was never intended to be put together. :D

I like the look now. I don't feel sectioning would enhance the look. My .02 cents.

I like the look of the truck Kiwi Kev sectioned. I think it's partly to do with the having the correct bed for the truck.

I've been thinking of sectioning it this time around to get the hood line slimer.

This sounds silly, but could anyone send me some information on this as well? My dad and I are building a 53, as it was the first hot rod he built in the early 70s, and unfortunatally this looks like it's going to be his last. We have been picking for about 3 years at it now, and just have the ch***is done. I, from the beginning wanted to section the cab, and originally found a how-to of sorts online that showed very detailed pictures with sharpie lines and everything of a 48-53 cab and now I can't find it, so if ANYONE could send me that link, or pictures of yours so I too can figure it out the rest of the way I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks.
