Can you really be a gearhead without having stuff that you "just like to go stare at."?

About time to throw a reality check in here. Actually it's about time for this to wind down so someone else can start it up again. Who's up for starting a NEW thread?:(

    Bullshit!
Arkansas has an unbelieveable amount of very cool cars.
I recently talked to a guy with a 1950 Lincoln, looks like a 1950 Mercury but cooler and a 57 Desoto along with a bunch of cars with Hemis all have been on his property since they were new.
His driveway is 5 miles long.
He told me he will sell any of them.

I have many ol cars that I drive daily.
I've never owned a new car-(my newest is 44 years old)
I used to park them in the driveway where passers-by could enjoy looking at them
    BUT
theres a lot of assholes who believe that just because they want your car you have some kind of obligation to let them have it!

Now I hide them around back and the world is a poorer place without cool old cars on display.

That's like I've got some banjo rear centers and a few gears and one nice open drive (real Nice) new bearings and stuff and and a home made conversion kit that needs machined and a seal. Just all kinds of stuf BUT I really don't like to sell to anybody that is NOT a real rodder like her on the HAMB or Rodding Roundtable. The regular Joes just don't appreciate the old stuff.
