Well to start out my name is chuck and my wife say's the only thing I haven't sold is her. Have liked old cars sence been in highscool. All I could afford. Now I can't afford them anymore. Bought my first ride in 73. Was a 57 chevy pickup. Paid $300 fixed on it for 3 years and sold it for $2300. Just bought my last 57 and it cost $2500 and I can't afford my expectations for this truck. Enough whining. Live 30 miles SE of Seattle. Where thing rusts. We rust not sunburn. Born and raised in sunny California. Moved to Washington when 18. Been here ever since. Like anything that I can weld. Thanks for the ? Rockchuk Not that this has any hotrod value here is a 54 3B that I did 3 years ago. From the ground up
Welcome. You'll like it around here. On your latest truck? Lower your expectations AND the truck and drive the **** out of it !!!!
Excellent. Now that you've posted an intro, maybe the old ladies and frat boy hazers will let you post a cl***ified ad. Ed
Nice Pregnant Hood Flatfender there! I am big Willy's fan. Like the others said lower those expectations and lower the truck and you will be happy.
Hi from the other side of the continent... I'm learning in this hobby money isnt everything. As Riz from Rod and Custom puts it, sweat equity has something to do with it as well. I'm broker than broken and I'm still slowly progressing with the things I can do myself, and if I can't, I find people that could help me and maybe find something to trade (work/stuff). If you keep telling yourself, you'll get this truck done, you will.
Welcome from another PNW HAMBer.So you live really close to Elma where the Unfinished Nats are. We'll see you there in September then eh. Get that 57 on the road and drive the **** out it!(is there an echo in here?) .....Shiny
