I've just always thought a family portrait should be shared in a family environment.

The "Ice Cream Kid" by Stanley Mouse.

Stanley found a niche in the Detroit hot rod culture ('60s) by detailing extraordinary paint jobs on vehicles until no quality hot rod in town could be seen without a Mouse pin-striping job.

Here's what Stanley says about the Kid:

    “Trouble comes in many flavors.
Ice Cream Kid is in hot water.
    The jury is out.
    His only defense is love.”

A closeup of my then-freshly-rebuilt 1962 Nichols horizontal mill making a 2" wide 1/2" deep cut in an aluminum bracket.

    Avtomat Kalashnikova 47

one of the best engineered weapons ever designed
simple, reliable, cheap to produce and you can teach a retard to use if efficiently in 5 minutes. Kalashnikovs design brief was to make a weapon that could be used easily and repreatedly by conscript soldiers, hence the simplicity of design.

Apparently Mikhail Kalashnikov was shown prototypes of the british SA80****ault rifle and said "you must have very clever soldiers"

It is a 2007 Dodge bodied, 360 cu powered on a GM Metric chassis, Pro Truck I jointly own with a buddy. We run this locally at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway. This was a ground up build in my shop.

When I bought my Studebaker M5, a friend who was an illustrator for Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, immediately drew up this picture.

This photo was taken during my first road trip in my '57. It was the 2006 Power Tour and I wanted a shot of the dash/view from the rear seat. Not as much detail visable in the avatar as a full size photo, but you get the idea. BTW that's D-Russ driving.

I used to use a moving shot of my car, then decided to do a Mad Scientist meets Car Guy type self portrait. That way if I ever sell my cars, I will not need to change my photo.

and I found some cool vintage safety goggles at a yard sale...
