To remind me to get/keep busy, the dirt nap gets closer each day:cool:

I change them often as they get stale, cars, advertizing, abstract...etc.

Hey 117 Harv, Did I meet you on the Nasca Plains in Peru in '88?
You haven't changed at all! (Except you were sitting up in a basket.)
No hot rods down there, and no spice at the time.

I rotate avatars, the current one is from about 98, a bunch of us from Norcal met Mark Morton and his group from LA at Harris Ranch for a couple days of fun. Lots of driving around and mischief. As I recall we ended up at the Bakersfield Reunion. We always had a lot of fun when this group got together.

pinup of Pam Anderson on the trunk lid of my black 40 Ford sedan. In a garter belt, stockings, witch hat in front of a full moon on a broomstick. Referenced Santana's song "Black Magic Woman".

My buddy Jerry was a pinstriper for Oldsmobile back when they striped the cars by hand. He is also a professional sign painter. He was bored one day and painted this Willy's on my shop door. I love it.

my nomad that I grew up in and learned how to drive in! Dad owned from about 70'-78', then I found it and brought it back home in 98'. That's my 15 yr old son, who'll be the 3rd generation to cruise it. Our family drove this to the 1st and 2nd MHRA fall picnics in the early 70s, since dad's 34' sedan wasn't finished yet. We also took it to the drive-in to see American Graffiti in 74', I remember sitting on the tailgate and eating popcorn. Lots of history!

My fathers B/C 1931 Plymouth PA coupe Altered dragster, 427FE Ford powered he ran in the 60's. I found and recovered the car and it now sits in my shop being restored to as close as this avatar picture I can get it. My dad, uncles, and friends all drove it and it means a great deal to me and our family.

see the USA in your Chevrolet, America's asking you to call.
Drive your Chevrolet thru the USA, America's the greatest land of all.
Dinah Shore signed off her show every night with this little ditty. I was
eleven when this car was new. I knew when I saw it I had to bring it
back to life. It took Pooch and me ten years to accomplish the task,
but it was worth the effort. torx41.

This Car was called Tak's Toy, and was a crowd favorite at a Drag Strip located just north of Denver (Erie, CO) in the '60's-it was known for covering more ground sideways than straight-I loved watching it-

Mine is a picture of the plane my great uncle died in. He was the bombardier and the bullet proof glass wasn't so bullet proof. I am proud of all my families service to this country.
