Belongs to a friend of mine. He actually took it to Pinks All-Out last year, but suspension woes kept it out of the competition.

Pirotta/ Caruana 'Satisfaction' AA/G Ford Cortina (1981).

This illustration (detail) shows one of the longest (timewise) ANDRA registered cars as I remember it back in the day. Loved the scream of the cammer engine in this steel car.

 

Do you know anything more about this Comet?

 

No Pics, but quite a few years ago at the Route 66 Cruise in San Berdoo there was a white Cobra with a cammer. Very clear and very sweet.

This engine is my top all time favorite Ford engine.

Henry29, do you know who's car this is? i'm originally from the Evansville area, but am now in Indy. i like how he has the local dealership and Hardy Brake on the car. pretty sweet! i recognize that riverfront area too.
