69, Bob is still here, and still has the Fastback, and several Boss 9's. He bought a cammer from me a few years ago, and has since sold the spare. His mustang was at the Denver Car Show, over Thanksgiving. Look at the 64/65 Comet post for pics. Eric
Pretty sure that is a photoshopped image. I was talking to Mose Nowland yesterday (the guy in the center of the photo) and he said it was an standard cammer. No way it was ever a V-12
Man tell me about it, To have the motor landed in Oz, built the way I want it......................... $102,000 AUD I cryed myself to sleep that night. Doc.
I had to make a side mount air horn set-up for the hillborn in order to get the hood to close. Once it is rounded out and polished it should resemble the valve cover.
Back in the early 70's my dad had one in a 68 Mustang. Car was called the HUMMER. Pro Stock Car. Dumb Ass sold it! Bet he wishes he had it now.
Johnnie, that's as close as Eddie is gonna get to a Cammer, unless he mans up, and gets his shit together! haha I'm telling ya, a Cammer in your Willys would be cool, or just sell me, that old rusty Willys, and I will even come pick it up! Eric
My father in law was a crew chief for a funny car team in the 70's using SOHC motors. He has one in pieces in his garage with no future intent for it, and i was really itching to put it in my 32' sedan....untill i tried to price some missing pieces for it. Outrageous cost to rebuild one, especially if your missing ANYTHING! And then you have a motor with a ridiculously long timing chain thats gonna cause headaches down the road. Dont get me wrong, they're wicked cool motors, but not for a driver.
