I had a model once ('57 T-bird, maybe?) that had a Cammer with Webers...I think it's still in the basement somewhere. Probably the closest I'll ever get to a SOHC!
I sent a message to Byron Stack (GasserMadness here and founder of the gassermadness.com site) who was a crewman on the Kit...if anyone would know, I figure it would be him! If I hear back from him I'll pass it on.
Coolest Mustang ever. I was determined to build a replica and drive it on the street. (As soon as I was old enough to drive.) Still would like to.
In case some of you didn't know it, Wayne Jeffers/owner of 12 + Cammers in Orlando, passed away Feb. 5th. He was one GREAT guy.
If you liked the Mustang with the Cammer, you will LOVE this one! Built by ?, owned by Wayne Jeffers as was the '64 Fairlane and the '70s Pick-Up!
I know Chuck Griffith went thru a few of them also in the Starlite AA/FD. They later figured out how to modify the mains to 392 Hemi size and that helped, but opened up other cans of worms
