Hot Rods OKC Fairgrounds, 1962/63

Are there any pictures out there of racing at the OKC Fairgrounds circa 1962/63.

Hmm...I would like to see those as well. I know Shane Carson carries around an album with lots of old pics from the drag strip down there since they owned it for a while. He has brought those pics to Sid's open house before.

I also bet @Roothawg might have some since his dad was racing around that time too.

 

Was the drag strip at the Fair grounds? I used to got to a drag strip about 3 or 4 miles West of the Fair grounds, in the 1970s.
