Born and raised hell in O.K.C. Up in the K.C. area now. But every time I cross the state line to go to lake texoma, once I see that red dirt I feel like I'm home again.

  18. South central Oklahoma here, right off I-35.

My aunt in Texas told my Dad that every time she went to Oklahoma, the first thing she saw was a "Bingo" sign. To wit my Dad replied the first thing he saw when entering Texas was a sign that said "Adult Videos".

Hope You didn't misunderstand...I really do like Oklahoma. alot. It's "just like home" for me- I originally come from Amarillo, which was a desolate wasteland...If we wanted Trees, Hills, and friendly people, we drove to Oklahoma.

If we wanted to get into fistfights, we drove to Lubbock.:D

I personally don't think a whole helluva lot of people with much sense live south of the 45th paralell. but the highest concentrations of those with some seem to live in Texas and Oklahoma.

Gawd I'm glad someone finally picked that up... Woke up this morn, looked at this thread and was worried about you guys...

Originally from Oklahoma, living in Louisiana... Every chance I get I make it back...

Everyone from Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas for that matter, ought to show some support to a show my buddies are trying to make a go of... It's the first Sat in August each year! (I know hottest time of the year) but it's a good show... It's gonna be it's third year this year, called the Okie Twist Off! Route 66 Bowling Alley in OKC...

I'll make another post with pics from the past two years...

Glad to see all the Oklabydamnhomans on here...
