Anything going on in your areas this weekend? For that matter, New Mexico, or the DFW area. I thought our first Saturday meet was this weekend, but my wife just informed me it's not until the 7th. I need something to do!
???? After what he did for me last October, Jeff is the last guy on here I'd want to insult.......Sorry if it was taken the wrong way. The HMMMMM was just meant to signify he really gave me one to think about. Salida would be an awesome roadtrip, but I'd need to leave today, and my '57 has 3 or 4 hours of work left to finish up an attempted realignment of front sheetmetal. Salida is about 400 miles from Amarillo, so probably can't do it, but..........the day's not over yet.
OH ****.........Just realized I got my Oklahoma guys crossed up.....................yesterday and today!!! My senior moments are starting to all blend in together. sorry JOE !!!
Well, got my car put back together, almost. Came in to rest and check out the details on that Salida show, and unfortunately, it's next weekend, the 7th. Got stuff going on here next weekend..the annual Polk street cruise, otherwise the Salida show looks really interesting. Thanks again, Joe.
I am VERY familiar with senior moments Rich. We usually meet our kids from Austin in Salida each summer. 2 or 3 years ago it happened to be on the same weekend as the show. I didn't expect it to be much but I was pleasantly surprised. Nice little show in a great setting. We were there last week and I saw the signs for the show on the 7th.
If anybody is in the Amarillo area Saturday (7th), we have our annual Polk St. cruise downtown. Should be 2 - 3 + hundred cars, and thousands of onlookers. 6-9pm. Hoping for good weather, we've been getting lots of rain. That's the same day as our monthly 1st Saturday meet @ Hillside and Bell starts around 4.
Seems I should check in here more often. I’m glad I am not the only one that can’t always remember names.
