I've lurked here for a while and decided it was time to start posting. I've got a '48 F-1 that I hope to incorporate a gasser theme into one day. See ya on the street

Howdy from Enid, welcome aboard. Gotta love F1s, outran the County Sheriff on Halloween night when I was 18 in an old green '48 with a flat 6. Something about all the beer cans littering the street. lol

straykatkustoms, I've thought so myself. I guess you could say it's in the hot rod/daily driver status right now. It's my first truck and I did the high school drags at Thunder Valley in it. I've enjoyed every minute of the truck. I think I have attached a picture of it. It looks better in pictures and at 50 feet than it does up close.

G V Gordon, that's a neat story. I've heard a few about ol' F-1's now.

 

Has that truck been to the Poker runs in Mustang? Looks familiar.

And also all the info i've recieved about my TPI in a 50f1 has been here they are good people here. And they don't put you down because your putting a 350 in a 50 Ford F1 if you get my drift.

Rusty, this place is more me than FTE. I like other rides than Fords. I tend to piss people off on FTE. I think I like it better over here anyway.

Yea Hotrod, You think you pissed people off I was asked in so many words to leave. But 3 or 4 other people talked me into staying. I like just about any old car or truck. But if it's not ford or your you are putting anything but a ford motor in it most of them don't want to talk to you much less give you any advice or help that's why I like it here on this forum. They don't care what it is if they can help they will. Well I've said enough. Glad your here. RUSTY
