    34toddster,
My car originally came from St. Louis and had a Mid Engineering kit with a 455 Olds eng and Toronado transaxle. Too much for a 16 year old boy.

  2. louvers,

The wagons are pretty rare- we had one when I was little, and Brad54 has one right now. If I remember correctly, there are LOTS of specific parts to the wagon (windshield glass, doors, etc)...

Yup, they are. Matter of fact John just sold the convertible that started this thread on Saturday, and is actively pursuing a station wagon that GasserSteve told me about last week.

Looks like I may be gaining a '65 this Saturday. A bit rusty in the floors, but a manual and nice fenders. It'll be a project, but for the price I just couldn't pass it up.

Had a '65 110 years ago. Solid CA car. Found a 4-speed and all the goodies to go with it at a yard in Hayward (I think), super cheap, but never got to put it in. A guy at work needed a car, and the 'Vair was an extra, so I sold everything to him. Wish I'd kept the transaxle and clutch goodies.
He gave it a black eye in the first week, but he did eventually put the manual in, headers, and lots of love. They sure are a lot of fun.
