I dug some really old stuff out of the Olds, gotta find the other oldies, with Manny in them!
How about when I first bought it. What a rat!
And the first restoration of the engine compartment.

Next, a shot of her, UNCHOPPED, in my driveway...where almost all of the work was done!
Next, in Pazsik's shop, I needed the master's help to get her cut!

    Last couple, it's getting late!
Here it is with the top cut off.
I was a nervous wreck. Back then (early 80's) it was rare to hear about a Merc getting chopped, never mind a tough car, like a wraparound windsheild Olds!
Top back on, but didn't start the 57 Olds rear window yet!

Mark, that is some of the coolest **** I've seen on here. If i ever chop the Ford, you're the guy I'm callin.

So cool seeing all the faces that go along with the names. It makes me feel like I'm carrying on a tradition. I guess that's what it's all about, knowing your roots and carrying the torch.

Very cool pics indeed.I'd like to see more too.I really like those "garage pics".chopolds,I have your Olds on video, only a couple of seconds, left quite an impact on me when I saw it some years ago.The taillights really get that thing flowing...can't find the video in the moment but have you been in Paso with the car in the mid to late 90's ?

Edit : I just reread the Cove Customs post in which say you haven't been to Paso...I really wonder where that video is from...
