It need larger/taller size pie crust slicks. Hurst recaps would be appropriate.

I first started collecting parts, I bought a ronco vertex magneto, corvette valve covers and at first I was going to run a 6x2 intake but after talking to a guy who had a hilborn setup I figured I would rather run one of those even though I have zero experience with mechanical injection.

I then had the frame sandblasted then I primed and painted it and started bolting back on some of the parts. Progress has been going slower than I would like especially since I work nights and I work out of my father garage and it's about a 40 min drive one way.

I hope to have it done and ready for the KKOA show/drags at mason dixon dragway this June. And if it's not ready by then it will definitely be ready for the jalopy showdown drags in October.

I also need a moon or eelco hydraulic throttle, if any one happens to have one they would like to sell.

I like the looks with the injection. I helped a guy in late 60's that ran one on his tri-five drag car. You'll learn fast. Look into one of the tuning books Speedway sells or others. Do a little reading first and go for it.

You will have a ball "drag racing" it when done.
