There was a great car turn out at our wedding/party but there were some that i didnt know showed up.

my dad was over sunday looking throu some of my car craft 60's mags looking for some t bucket chassis build articles, im sure some of you know which ones im talking about, neat old articles. well anyways he grabbed the 3 carcrafts i had and went on his way.

well my dad was over tonight dropping of some steal and and he asked me about the old custom T bird that was at our party, asking if i remembered seeing it there, i said kinda, he said it was on the cover of one of the car crafts i had borrowed him, but we werent just sure yet if it was the same car, well with a little bit of digging we figured out it was.

first is the only pic i have of it at the party, pretty distinctive.

second is a link to the barris book with some info about the car, a pic on page 22 and some info on page 23

the dick axcell 62 ford t bird.

kinda neat, if i new it was what it was i would have snapped a few more pics, maybe some one at the party has some pics of it.

    just though it was neat

With out its history I bet people don't even give it a second look. If joeshmo built that and posted it here hardly any one would like it. I guess its like everything else it all in the name.

I know the car, a friend of mine was looking at it a couple of years ago as it was for sale, the guy built it himself in the 80's, its a clone and there are some subtle differences in the body near the grille area if I remember correctly
