Hi all my name is Barry and I am in the process of restoring the 1950 Ford F-1 that I learned to drive on in 1975. My Dad bought it in 1961, or two years before I was born and I was lucky enough to buy it from him before he passed away. I hope a moderator will stear me right as I am going to ask lots of questions about the conversion of my truck as a restomod. I intend to keep the original straight axle but I will replace the rear suspension, rear end, transmission and motor. I look forward to meeting you good folks and hope that I can fit in as I learn how to restore my old truck into a thing of beauty.
