here's what my wife got for me. It looks to be a 56 Chevy School bus. Someone back in the day started conveerting it to a camper. I am going to finnish it. Well that's the plan. Best of all I got it for free!

vividlyvintage - No not going to make it a monster truck. But the other two are pretty vool. It will be a little while before I get to do any work on it, but i will start a thread on here to show my progress once it gets started.
Are those the correct tailights? I would have thought it should have the old wedding cake style that my 1960 model has.
Nobody's rescued this thing yet. Apparently it's a Graham, had someone claim that was a Chrysler truck brand at the time? Who knows. Wouldn't be bad to drop it on a cutaway van chassis though. Probably the only one like it in the world. He asks a high price but often will sell for much lower.
Mission accomplished!!! The Aloha arrived safely on Friday at noon! It looks awesome! Like anything, I'll have to go through it and put my personal touch on it. But, what a great point to start! I haven't seen the Shipping show so I can't comment. But like most TV, it's all B.S. drama! I can honestly report first hand the uShip experience was very good. The shipper I chose was completely professional. He communicated very well, and delivered on time! His name is Freddie Lovvron of Lovvorn & Company Llc. located in Wetumpka Alabama. re upholstered my dinette seats in my 1959 Shasta Airflyte.. took out the terrible vinyl flooring and did my floor in a checker board pattern.. interior shot.. a before and after.. bought for $350.. someone had painted over original paint scheme.. and after my quick driveway re-do!

You would think that as much as we all love old trailers someone would start building retros. Well, I guess they think they do, but I haven't seen anyone but a few teardrop builders get them right. They mfg a nice canned ham with a fifties look and then put Star Trek windows in them.
