Hey, Allen, Thanks for the offer to share these photos. I wanted to point out that the HAMB, along with some current magazine****les, are very much a reaction against a lot of what was "popular" in the '90's. Generally speaking, easter egg paint jobs, billet aluminum doodads, updated "high-tech" styling ( trying to make a '30's car look '90's), hood and trunk murals, and so on don't play well here. Just looking on the first page of your link, I saw two Model A coupes and a really neat white roadster that would be right up our alley. Not that the HAMB is just about Model A's, either, but those were the first few that I saw. You might take a look at a couple of posts on here, Real Hot Rods from the 1940's, and Real Hot Rods from the 1950's, and compare those to shots from your friends albums. There have always been a few guys who were more interested in how rods looked way back when rather than chasing the latest high tech fad, which is what was going on quite a bit in the early '90's.
