Here's a HAMBer banger (Ithink) from several years ago that used a SBC scattershield and a motor plate. Couldn't find the specs or owner info. Either it's too old or I am.

 

Positive crankcase ventilation?

 

That's my car in the building stages... the Vaughan Quick & Easy 27 T. We blew the headgasket and the banger tried to compress water.... ugh!

Did we ever find out whst the head was? Looks like a Gemsa to me.

 

More carnage to report... We just pulled the transmission apart and It's shot too. Cracked the case, killed all the bearings, mainshaft, synchros, etc. At least the 26 tooth zephyr cluster in ok. That's the most expensive part.
I NEED A 42-48 SIDE SHIFT TRANSMISSION. ANYBODY GOT ONE?

And 37 Kid,.. It's a Gemsa head.
