    It would be a waste of time to take the shiny polished one to Bonneville. The salt would make short work of all that shiney stuff. Nice job, love the car & new motor

    I guess Rod and Custom must have taken a picture of our head while they were at H & H shooting the pretty shiny motor. Now I can see your confusion. But definitely a different head.

    well, I have to say I've always preferred the look of a nice cast part to polished, so your motor is much prettier in my eyes.

    I did have a question about the polished head in that article. It said in the article (and I've read it here on the hamb) that every head gemsa built was numbered dated etc. the polished head has nothing stamped in it. his stampings on your head were deep enough not to have polished out and it looks like it would take quite a bit to mill it off.

    I know someone said H&H has the patterns for this head, did they possibly cast this one??
