Well I've been crusin' this keyboard with a leaners permit for quite some now, and thought I should throw out an intro to start the new year right. If I had spent more time in English cl*** than shop cl*** this might be easier, but here goes; I'm an old school rodder from the midwest. I have hit the H.A.M.B. drags every year for the last five. I have met a lot of great folks and had a terrific time. The Mokan Raceway is a real blast from the past. I bought my first car, a 28 model A coupe when I was 14, dropped in an olds V8, I followed that with more model A's, 36's, 40's and 46 fords over the years. I built my 57 short box chevy pickup, that's on my avatar, 25 years ago and just recently sold it to begin building a 28 AV8 sedan with a flathead. I've picked up a lot of tips from the H.A.M.B. and hope i can shoot same back. Since I use the hunt and peck method on the key board my response time is a little slow, they say old dogs can't learn new tricks, but I am trying.
