My name is Wes McCracken. My cousin Suzie was married to Dave Strickler and he took me to my first Drag Race in 1965. I was 14 years old and went with him down the return road to try out a new transmission at York US 30 in his altered wheelbase 65 Dodge. After that all I wanted to do was race. Did it for almost 40 yrs. I'm now into old hot rods and Harleys.
