History Old drag strips texas, name them

That's the old Medina Valley Mud Drags. It's pretty new, started in maybe 2010, shut down a few years back. I grew up going to Concan my whole life, and spend pretty much every other weekend in Concan at the family cabin and the ranch.

There were no old drag strips in or near Uvalde. Kerrville, Laredo, & Del Rio would have been the closest of the old drag strips outside of San Antonio.

Not drag strip related, but if you look at satellite view, there is also an old abandoned 5-mile test track just north of D'Hanis, and the also south of Uvalde is Continental Proving Grounds test track.
