Old Dude New to H.A.M.B.

Been reading from a far. Now joined. I'm James. My dad was Fred. He was a great mechanic and Richfield station owner. I am a mere hobbyist in love with old American cars from the 60's and older.
I'm dying to rebuild an old 283 I found, and hope you guys can help me.
