We got talking about old electric fuel pumps today. Any old pics of some from back in the day? What make and model? I have a cool picture of one mounted on the firewall of an old 34 PU. Very easy to tell it is not a new build.

I hope somebody has the a picture of the old SW street pump. This one is the performance model. The one I'm thinking about had a green box on top. I'd like to get a picture so I can build a 1:25 model.

yes that is the one! my memory tells me that it is upside down in this picture. It was very popular in the 60s I never had one but they were everywhere. There were also round tube like bodies with the fuel connections into the side of the tube along with the wire. I ruined a Zippo lighter tapping on one one nite to get it to pump again. Only thing I had on the side of the road but I got home. These are iconic to me like a Hurst motor mount. Now I really want one;)

I remember seeing one of those in the garage growing up. Must have belonged to my older brother. Got **** canned eventually.

It's rubber right? I believe you can still find them. It's the same as a Walbro (sp?). But the new fuels will turn it to jelly..

Hi Tommy, here are pics of a green SW. It is a 6v. It does not work, does not make any sound.
