History Old Family photos, who has them?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Dr.Kerry, Dec 14, 2008.

  1. Got it and here's a couple of my parents brothers and sisters on leave!

My Mom was 12 in 1942 and was the Youngest of 11 children so she was included in many of her siblings photos when they were visiting home from the service.

Thanks to all who posted photos, I have really enjoyed reviewing them.
My first two pics were taken in August of 57 of my late Grandfather and late Father. My father would have been 12 at the time. Our local newspaper did a nice article on my Grandfather's success at the 1956 amd 1957 World Series of Drag Racing...

More history in the Dragster at the link in my signature below...

Next two photos are of my Grandfather at the 2nd annual WSOD that were in a couple of 'small mags'...

In below photo is my Aunt (now a retired school teacher) with a childhood friend. The 32 Roadster is the same one in photos above with the dragster. [IMG]
Below are photos taken of my Father and Grandfather circa 1969 during construction of our families 48 Mercury.

  11. Every picture anyone ever took of anybody in my family seemed to be by some old car. These are all straight out of the ol' scrapbook.

My 'ol man's still a "hot rodder" at age 85 :D The last pic is him & his 1930 Chev 4 door "special" the day I delivered it to him in Idaho. This is his daily driver when it's not snowing
