I was going thru somma my old belt sets and noticed they are different

The set with 1950 inspection have leather loops and the ones marked 60's
have an all metal connection. Don't know when one replace the other but I'm happy to have both kinds. :)

Since a bunch of us have old race cars thought you might like seeing em.

Pete your looking at the four shoulder harnesses I've found in So Cal in the past 40 years..... I got plenty of lap belts They are easy. So, no I don't wanna sell 'em.

I've gotten a lotta notes from guys missin' photos of strange junque. So I thought I post photos every now and then just these guys could see some stuff

But not for sale.... I'd put em on the sell side if the were

One guy called me a ''Belt Teaser'' I remember in High School we had a phrase like that but it refered to an area below the belt

I THINK THE REASON FOR THE LAP PART OF THE BELT BEING COMMON IS MOST OPEN WHEEL RACE CARS UNTIL ABOUT 1955-56 DID NOT HAVE ROLL BARS. WITH JUST THE LAP YOU COULD STILL TAKE A LITTLE DIVE IN THE COCKPIT. BLUTO CAN I HAVE THE ENGINE FROM YOUR MIDGET RACE CAR. LOL MIKE
