I'm Ken, a Montana native now living on the island of Kaua'i (Hawai'i). I have been a car nut since I was a little kid. I built a 27 T Roadster, 53 Stude Coupe, 51 Stude PU, and have owned a 47 Ford sedan delivery, 65 Riviera, 60 Austin-Healey 3000, 69 Opel GT, and a few others. Project #1 is '60 Starliner. It's been stripped, frame and firewall painted, engine reinstalled. I'm just putting the front end back together now. Project #2 (Why do I do this to myself?) is a 30's style boat-tailed speedster. I have a '65 VW cockpit set on a Toyota PU chassis. Front fenders are '36 Olds; rears are '37 Packard. All four will be "pontooned." The boat tail will be a modified VW hood. '36 Chevy hood, custom laid back grille, probably quarter elliptic front suspension, cuz of the Toyota's torsion bars. I'm hoping to pick up a mid-30's Morris when I go to NZ this spring. Also looking for a '52-53 Ford Coupe for some serious ol' skool customizing. A 39-46 Chevy PU Bobber is also in the future, if I live long enough! It'll be flat camo green with faux WWII insignia on the doors, etc.
