I have been talking to Valerie......unfortunately I was at Toronto International Dragway & watch in horror when Dick Harrell blew the tire at the end of the track & hit the pole. My good friend Dave Pratt was running the track at that time...........RIP Dick!!!

Snoopy Funny Car, by Compton Sevice Center (Atlantic&Alonda Bl), at Lions Drag Strip, 1967 (?). Now those were the days in the Los Angeles area.

I don't suppose anyone out there has pics that they would be willing to share - my parents are Cheri and Randy Walls. I really want photos of mom, mainly. I know there have to be lots around, she is a hottie!:p I know they were together during the Nasty Nova/Super Nova days, but it would have been late '60's-mid '70's.
    Thanks!

I worked at Service Centers in both SoCal and NorCal in the late '70s. Our T-shirts and business cards still had the Snoopy car but I never really knew much about it or what happened. And I'd never seen a photo of the car until tonight. Thanks.

Hilborn injected 426 Hemi on 80% load of nitro, near finish line A/FC class. Actually one pictured in my avatar. Picture obviously from Brain Hankins.

Interesting, is that a true knock-off wheel I spot in the rear ?
Overall, the look could be deceiving as there is a few possibilitys, but if the wheel was a "bolt on"...why would a knock-off nut be sitting on what looks to be the end of the axle ?
