At present I'm working on a 63 Fairlane g***er with some help from family n friends it should be on the road for summer. Also, have a 47 Chevy it gets us there and back, flat blk wwhites and to many doors. My son has a 48 Pont. and straight axle 53 Chevy. later ,,,,Don
I'm another new HAMB subscriber; also from Ohio--Garfield Heights! My first car was a '49 Olds fastback. Started working on cars in 1950 at my Dad's Sohio gas station on Route 17 right above the old Cloverleaf Track. We used to use long and steep Granger Road hill to check out our brake jobs and tune ups. If the car topped the hill going 60 mph without any misses, it was a-ok. Have been screwing around with cars ever since and as soon as this snow disappears from Buckeye Land, I'm starting a restoration of my 1949 International KB3 pick up. My son in Pittsburgh wants me to turn it into a rod, but I think this beauty needs to remain the way it was back in 1949
Welcome Don! I'm also 61 and must be in the same category as you. At least my wife says I'm old and a farter, so I guess I am an old fart too. In any case glad you joined, a lot of us baby boomers hang out here.
will see you guys at the spinout here in brimtucky this summer, hope to have my g***er there, good times are near,, don
